About DCC by Design.

Scott started DCC by Design to provide consulting and assembly services for DCC systems enabling model railroaders to employ their DCC system as a full layout control system.

While DCC by Design is a new business, Scott has 10 plus years of experience designing train control systems. An NMRA member, he has consulted on DCC systems for several layouts in Northern Virginia and was the designer for the DCC system powering Prince William Model Railroader Club's Quantico Layout. Scott is a engineer with experience in systems engineering, software development, quality assurance documentation, and business process improvement all of which helps him to develop innovative control methodologies and document them in easy to understand pages for clients.
